Enjoy the magic of Outer Hope at Mouthwell Beach just 20 steps away from Bridge Cottage. Bridge Cottage is the ideal base to explore South Hams stunning coast, offering excellent service and unforgettable family holidays.
The cottage includes three bedrooms: two king-size and one twin (or super king option), plus a bathroom, en-suite shower room, and additional w/c.
It also features a lounge, breakfast room, and a kitchen-dining room opening out onto a spacious patio driveway.
The driveway, rare for Hope Cove, accommodates 2–3 cars and includes an EV charging point for your stay.
Outer and Inner Hope Cove
Bridge Cottage is located in Outer Hope, a place where smugglers once plied their illicit woe-begotten trade! Outer Hope is easily accessible from the A381 after the turn off to South Huish or from Marlborough. Hope Cove is situated between the towns of Salcombe and Kingsbridge and is divided into two villages, Outer and Inner Hope.
Mouthwell Sands at Outer Hope is idea for families or swimmers alike as it is lifeguarded in the summer months. Furry friends are welcome with seasonal restrictions from 1st May to 30th September and at Harbour beach, a 2 minute walk from the Cottage, dogs are welcome all year round on a lead.
Harbour beach stretches around to Inner Hope Village and you can walk across to Inner Hope along the beach at low tide, approaching the RNLI Lifeboat Station.

Our commitment to quality ensures a memorable stay for every guest and includes use of linens, towels, a welcome pack on arrival and plenty of hot water and underfloor heating if the weather is a bit on the nippy side!
